Nokia has announced its third Lumia Windows Phone 8 handset Lumia 620 that will line up below the Lumia 920 and Lumia 820, and the new Lumia 620 is set to be released early next year. The handset continues the trend of previous Lumia offerings in colourful designs from seven removable rear panels, and according to Nokia the manufacturing process allows for more brightness along with a little texture.<\/p>\n

The Lumia 620 comes with a 3.8-inch screen with a resolution of 480×800, giving you a very respectable 246 pixels per inch. There’s a 5-megapixel camera on the back and a front-facing camera for video calls.<\/p>\n

Doing the grunt work is a dual-core Snapdragon S4 1GHz processor with an unimpressive 512MB of RAM. There’s 8GB of storage for your media, but you can add up to 64GB with a microSD card.<\/p>\n

On the connectivity front, you get Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth 3.0 and NFC.<\/p>\n

The price reflects the device’s middling specs — it will be available for $249. It’s the first entry-level WP8 device from Nokia; the first two are the much more powerful Lumia 920 and the mid-range Lumia 820.<\/p>\n
