Hewlett-Packard has launched its first ever Chrome OS-based laptop: the HP Pavilion 14 Chromebook.
The HP Pavilion Chromebook comes with a brilliant 14’’ BrightView LED-backlit display (1366 x 768) screen, Dual-core Intel® Celeron® Processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of flash storage memory.
The device is quite heavy for a Chromebook: according to HP, it weighs “just under 4 pounds.”
On the connectivity front, it sports a HDMI port, 3 USB 2.0 ports, and a multi-format digital card reader. Buyers also get 100 GB Google Drive Cloud Storage for two years.
Apart form this The device is compatible for Kensington Key lock & Bluetooth 3.o, and support Built-in dual band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/b and ethernet.
HP says the Pavilion 14 Chromebook’s removable battery is only good for about 4 hours and 15 minutes.
The HP Pavillion 14 Chromebook aviable at $329, the most expensive new Chromebook on the market. It’s a cool $80 more than the much-sleeker Samsung Chromebook and a $130 more than the Acer C7.
