Twitter has published its new music site with a dark black background, a #music hashtag and a non-functional button.

Yesterday Ryan Seacrest twitted about the new music app.

Stephen Phillips founder of We Are Hunted also tweeted several playable track coming From Rdio and Soundcloud and it may be the part of coming twitter music services.

 

Twitter has already confirmed the acquisition of We Are Hunted a San Francisco-based music discovery site that track popular songs across the internet and social media and allow the user to listen online as well as discover their favorite artists.

We Are Hunted wrote on its website “we are shutting down wearehunted.com, we will continue to create services that will delight you, as part of the Twitter team.” They wrote “There’s no question that Twitter and music go well together. Artists turn to Twitter first to connect with fans, and people share and discover new songs and albums every day. We can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on at Twitter.”

After analyzing the code of the website by TheNextWeb, the site will offer “following” and “tweeting” feature, and also will able to integrated major streaming services like YouTube, VEVO, Soundcloud, Rdio, Spotify and iTunes. User can also buy songs and view the artist biographies, charts and shows.

According to AllThingsD the service may live with the beginning of the Coachella music festival 2013 in California.
