We know that Samsung is going to announce its new flagship, the Galaxy S IV, on March 14 in New York City. We know less about the phone itself. Today, though, we have one more piece of that puzzle, with a new report that the phone will feature eye-tracking technology.

According to the New York Times, the Galaxy S IV will track a user’s eyes to determine where to scroll, said a Samsung employee who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the news media. For example, when users read articles and their eyes reach the bottom of the page, the software will automatically scroll down to reveal the next paragraphs of text.Samsung is already teasing the Galaxy S IV with a promotional teaser video, referring to it as “one of the most amazing products to hit the market since TVs went color.”

Rumors indicate that the device will tout an Exynos 5 8-core processor, 2GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel camera and run on Android 4.2.2.

Samsung’s Galaxy S III has been the company’s best-selling phone, so the release of its next flagship phone has been highly anticipated.
