India to Host Asia’s Biggest Air-Show, Aero India 2013

The 9th Aero India show, touted as the biggest in Asia, today kicked off with 607 companies and world’s aerospace majors in attendance in Bangalore. The Aero India 2013 will showcase the evolution of indigenous defense and aerospace technology, as well as the advancement brought about through collaboration with other countries. Defense Minister AK Antony inaugurated the event at Air Force Station Yelahanka. The ninth edition of aerospace event is expected to see the participation of over 700 companies and 78 overseas delegations covering an approximate gross exhibition area of 1, 25,000 Sqm. The five-day long event features prominent international manufacturers such as Rafale, Dassault and United Aircraft Corp, among others. Here are images from the event.
